Tortuga Island is located in front of the Nicoya Peninsula and is only accessible by boat, which adds a special touch to the experience. At Tortuga Island you can relax all day on the beach or enjoy various activities such as having a refreshing cocktail on the beach, kayaking, nature walks or trying more exciting sports such as jet skiing, banana boat, paddle board and kayaks. Tortuga Island tour from Puntarenas includes:
Foreigners: $95 USD per person.
Residents: $80 USD per person.
Children ages 3-11: pay $10 USD less than the regular rate.
Please bring extra money if you wish to rent any additional activities on the island, such as hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, or to pay for the use of the island’s restrooms, which costs $1 USD.
